The GS9 Club is a official Japanese group for Grand Seiko owners. This year they held a large event in Tokyo, bringing together members to view some of the latest Grand Seiko models, see various artisans at work and interact with other members. During a recent trip to Japan I visited the Maker's Watch Knot Galley Shop in Kichijoji, Tokyo. This store sells Japanese made watches as well as a wide range of straps that utilize a range of Japanese materials and handicrafts. I was able to return to the Seiko Museum in Tokyo about eight months after my previous visit. On this occasion I was able to check out a new Audio Guidance application for visitors and see the updated signage as well as a couple of new display exhibits.Read More
This is a write up on my trip to Japan in summer 2016. During my visit I was able to visit numerous museums and search out a range of watches. The trip overview lists the watch related areas that I visited as well as the stores and events I attended. Hopefully this overview will give others visiting Japan some ideas for their own trips.
